Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has released a Special Recruitment Drive (Divyang Candidates Only) for the post of Helper. Educational Qualification
Minimum Qualification:
Candidate must have passed ITI (1 Year Course) in any of the following trades from Government recognized institute:
- Mechanic Motor Vehicle
- Mechanic Diesel
- General Mechanic
- Fitter
- Turner
- Electrician
- Sheet Metal Worker
- Auto Body Repairer
- Welder / Welder Cum Fabricator
- Machinist
- Carpenter
- Painter / Auto Painter
Additional Qualification (For Extra Weightage):
- Apprenticeship completed in the same trade with NCVT certificate.
Age Limit (As on 12/03/2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
- Age Relaxation: 10 Years for PwD
- Maximum Age with Relaxation: 45 Years
Birth Date Range: 12/03/1981 to 12/03/2008
Salary
- Fixed Pay: ₹21,100/- per month
- Contract Period: 5 Years
- After satisfactory completion, regular pay scale as per GSRTC rules.

Selection Process
Selection will be based on:
- Academic Weightage – 70 Marks
- ITI Marks – 55%
- Apprenticeship – 15%
- OMR Written Examination – 30 Marks
- Total Paper: 100 Marks
- Minimum Passing: 40 Marks
Final merit will be prepared out of 100 marks (70 Academic + 30 Written).
