Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- Post-graduate degree with at least 55% marks in:
- Geology OR
- Applied Geology
OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering with minimum 55% marks
- Basic computer knowledge (as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules)
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi
Age Limit
As on 09 December 2025:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 37 years
- Age Relaxations:
- Women (General): +5 years
- Reserved Categories: +5 to +10 years
- PwD Candidates: Up to 45 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years
Salary
- First 5 Years: Fixed Pay ₹49,600 per month
- After 5 Years: Pay Matrix Level 7 (₹39,900 – ₹1,26,600)** (After successful performance & confirmation)**
