The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the re-examination schedule for NEET UG 2026 after receiving approval from the Government of India. Major Changes Announced for NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam
The Union Education Minister announced five important changes for the upcoming NEET UG 2026 re-examination. These changes are expected to provide better convenience and transparency for candidates.
1. Re-NEET UG 2026 Exam Date Announced
The re-examination will be conducted on Sunday, 21 June 2026.
2. Admit Cards to be Released on June 14
NTA will issue the NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Admit Card on 14 June 2026 through the official portal.
3. Extra 15 Minutes for Students
Candidates will receive an additional 15 minutes during the examination. The revised timing will now be from 2 PM to 5:15 PM.
4. Fresh Centre Selection Window
Students will be allowed to choose their preferred examination centre again within one week.
5. No Additional Examination Fee
Candidates will not need to pay any extra fee for appearing in the re-exam.
